​About the tea...
​Since we can’t be together in person, let’s bring back the Mediator at-home tea, and share a cup and a moment of meditation and virtual fellowship—and let’s hope it will be one of the last times lockdown keeps us separate. Not only does each donation support the Mediator's community outreach programs and go to the care of our physical structure, the event also supports the small businesses that are providing tea and eco-friendly packaging. Now, more than ever, we see a need to extend this into a moment of healing and calm across many communities, to bring us together in troubled times, even if just for the duration of one cup of tea. Each donation will receive a packet with specially blended tea by teamakers Tea & Absinthe and brewing instructions for everyone to join in for Memorial Day Weekend tea time on May 30th at the same hour.

We will happily accept donations via PayPal, credit cards (through the PayPal page), or checks by mail.

For the first 100 packets of tea bought for the At-Home Spring Tea, an anonymous Matching Tea Donor will contribute a package of tea to add to the Food Justice Ministry grocery distribution. The FJM serves 450 to 500 families and seniors every week—let’s try to add an extra gift to every bag of groceries!
