MUSIC AT THE CHURCH OF THE MEDIATOR

Sam Westley, Musical Director and Organist. Sam holds a bachelor of music in piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music.   He has been the musical director of the Church of the Mediator since 2015, home of the last playable EM Skinner organ in the Bronx. He is also the Executive Director of the Washington Heights Choir School. Sam maintains an active piano teaching studio.

Juilio Vaquero, Church Pianist:  He is an award-winning Spanish composer specializing in musical theater.  In addition to writing and music directing dozens of musical theater productions, he has contributed to the spread of choral music as the conductor of choirs including Dimension Vocal. Julio holds an MFA in Musical Theater Writing from NYU, and has studied composition at the Royal Music School of Madrid and the Chopin University in Warsaw, with additional studies in Great Britain and Italy. He has extensive experience as a choral conductor, music director and educator.
